This blog post will feature my review of #HouseOfDanger the board game. Board games typically are so fun and House of Danger is no exception!

House of Danger is a wild ride, at times it's bananas... but buckle up because it is one adventure you will certainly want to take advantage of!

The great thing about this game is that you can choose your adventure & you can decide how to embark on the adventure; you can go it alone or play the game with friends.

Additionally, at the end of each chapter you can choose to move onto the next chapter or keep exploring and look for more clues and items that may help you throughout the rest of the game.

The game starts with you observing an image for two minutes before beginning chapter one. After looking at the picture you get everything set up for game play: Putting the danger meter at it's lowest spot on the danger meter and placing the psychic pawn on your starting place within level one on the board. As you progress through the game, and choices are made, you will hope to raise your psychic pawn and lower your danger meter, but unfortunately that will not always be what happens... If there was no danger, where's the fun?

This game in some regard can be as short or as long as you'd like since you get to in essence decide how much you want to explore in each chapter. Also, you do not have to finish the game in one sitting (even though my friends and I opted to). Because each chapter has its own set of cards you can "pause" the game at any time when you complete a chapter for however long you'd like to step away. You'd just have to jot down or take a picture of where the pawns are and keep track of which chapter you would embark on next. But you definitely do not have to pause if you don't want to either. The choice is completely up to you and whoever you do or do not include in the game.

I am super stoked about the game, so naturally I want to tell you everything, but instead I will err on the side of caution because I don't want to ruin the chance for you all to experience it and learn about all the cool twists and turns on your own. What you do need to know though, is that it is clear that the developers of the game put a lot of time and energy into making an awesome game. I would 10 out of 10 recommend that you all check this game out!

*Also I wanted to clarify that this review is not sponsored in anyway and contains my honest thoughts and opinions. If you have played this game before or do decide to try it out, let me know what you think! (:
